AAF DC Announces 2025–2026 Leadership Team

AAF DC Announces 2025–2026 Leadership Team; Lindsay Matthews Named President

The American Advertising Federation DC Chapter (AAF DC) has announced its officers and directors for the 2025–2026 term, featuring leaders from top area agencies, in-house teams, media organizations, and independent practices.

Former Vice President, Lindsay Matthews of Sensis, will serve as president.. Kyle Knauff of Cross Screen Media will move from Treasurer to Vice President, Jacqui Balogh of Yes& will serve as Treasurer, and LaQuita Howard of the League of Women Voters will be Secretary. Gretchen Carswell will move Immediate Past President. All officers will serve a one-year term.

Matthews will lead AAF DC in its mission to support the Washington, D.C., region advertising community. The chapter is known for its signature events like Advertising Week DC (ADWKDC)—now hosted in conjunction with the Mid-Atlantic Marketing Summit (MAMS)—and the chapter’s American Advertising Awards. She will work with her board and committees to produce AAF DC’s signature events to drive membership growth and serve as the voice of the advertising industry in the nation’s capital.

Matthews has served on the AAF DC Board of Directors since 2017 and has been a member since 2016. With more than 15 years of industry experience, she has worked with some of the region’s leading agencies. On her 2025-26 organizational outlook, Matthews shared:
