For 100 years the American Advertising Federation of Washington, DC has been the premiere industry organization for communications professionals. Representing dozens of brands and hundreds of creators and strategists, AAF DC helps our membership define the World’s biggest brands across communication disciplines. We invite you to join our monthly educational and networking events to meet, learn from, and do business with industry leaders, or participate in our annual premiere events like Advertising Week DC and the American Advertising Awards. 



If you tuned in on March 27 for the American Advertising Awards live show (#AAFDClive), then you heard our 2020 Awards Chair, Gretchen Carswell, call us all to action: urging the DC Creative Community to consider donating to organizations assisting the folks in and around this region. 

Your Board heard her call and decided that we would focus on the food insecurity challenge in communities all across the District, and the greater Washington, D.C. area. The Capital Area Food Bank works tirelessly to provide 30 million meals to almost half a million area residents, every year. On March 30, the AAF DC Board of Directors, on behalf of the entire AAF DC organization, made a donation to the Capital Area Food Bank in the amount of $665. 

Show up for neighbors and friends in need. We’re all #InThisTogether, and every dollar, every meal, makes a difference. So AAF DC members, we urge you to consider donating to the Capital Area Food Bank, a member of the Feeding America nationwide network of food banks. Do what you can, and encourage your networks to do the same.
