CHIEF Promotes Amanda Nguyen and Jeff Walter to Principal

CHIEF announced the promotions of Amanda Nguyen to Principal and Director of Marketing Strategy, and Jeff Walter to Principal and Creative Director.

The move is a reflection of their industry-leading subject matter expertise, tireless work ethic and agency-wide leadership. With this promotion, they join Margaret Johnson, Scott Johnson, Chris Lester, Dave Rinaldo, Clay Marshall and Anuj Vedak as Principals at CHIEF.

Nguyen is a well-respected and experienced marketing and communications industry veteran, whose impact has stretched across several sectors. She began her career at USDA, first as a press officer, later ushering in the department’s first official social media accounts and other new media strategies, and serving as the Director of Web Communications. Nguyen took over CHIEF’s Marketing Strategy practice in 2014, growing it significantly in terms of size, capability and revenue. She joined the AAF DC Board of Directors in November 2017.

Walter has honed his creative expertise for nearly two decades, delivering award-winning experiences for government, nonprofit and commercial clients. Prior to joining CHIEF nearly six years ago, he built his portfolio and expertise in the retail sector with Tween Brands, in addition to experience at small and large agencies. His relentless drive and desire to continuously improve has pushed to CHIEF to new heights, including the elevation of its brand practice and its reputation as one of the top creative agencies in DC.
