PRESENTED BY

Jane Stelboum, Marketing/Advertising Consultant + Yogi and founder of Sarasvate (Yoga Designed for the Brain).

Jane has over 25 years in the marketing and advertising industry on both the agency and client sides. Since 2012 she’s been a consultant, working with organizations and agencies when they need strategic support on planning, branding, positioning and messaging. Prior to that she was president of The Redhead Companies, a brand marketing and advertising firm in the Baltimore/Washington region where she led research and brand strategy, as well as account management for seventeen years. She worked on the corporate side at Hechinger Corporation, overseeing the in-house advertising division and managing external creative resources.

Ten years, ago, needing more balance in her life, Jane began teaching yoga. She founded Sarasvate (sar-as-vah-te´) in 2012 in honor of her mother Sarah, whom she lost to Alzheimer’s —a company whose mission is to prevent memory related diseases like Alzheimer’s and help those already impacted maintain a high quality of life as long as possible. She does this through workshops, caregiving training sessions, speaking engagements and privates in which she shares how the tools of yoga (breath, meditation and the physical practice) can positively impact memory and cognitive function, reduce stress and improve overall well-being. She loves to blend her two worlds with corporate workshops where she can help teams and individuals think more clearly and creatively through breath and mindfulness. She has been a featured speaker at conferences by the Smithsonian Associates (Yoga as Lifestyle Medicine), Aging Life Care Association, Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, and many yoga studios, senior living communities and corporate offices along the east coast.
