CANCELED: Behind the Hashtag

Please note that this event has been canceled. Ad 2 DC's team is in the process of rescheduling this event and will provide an update once a new date has been confirmed.

Influencer. We’ve all seen and heard the word, but we never stop to think about what it means. Until now.

Ad 2 DC is celebrating Women’s History Month by hosting Behind the Hashtag, a panelist event led by a combination of marketing professionals and local influencers who will discuss and dissect the lack of diversity and female representation in advertising, especially on social media. Behind the Hashtag’s panelists and professionals will also dive into why it’s important for our feeds to be inclusive, especially since over 50% of Americans rely on digital platforms for their daily news.

Behind the Hashtag’s panelists will also give us a transparent glimpse of what life is like behind the lens of an influencer - from building social media campaigns, to the competitive virtual environment, and doing what influencers do best: influence.

Join in on the conversation and find out what’s behind the hashtag by signing up below.
